The Program

The Pediatric Craniofacial Fellowship is embedded within a mature clinical, academic and surgical ecosystem: The Hospital for Sick Children, the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a large interdisciplinary patient program and the University of Toronto.

The Craniofacial Program

The craniofacial program at SickKids has an international reputation and a long history of leadership in pediatric craniofacial care, education and surgical training.

The program began in 1972 with the appointment of Ian R. Munro, MB, FRCS(C), and continues to train fellows within a comprehensive interdisciplinary model.

The program combines high clinical volume, complex pathology, interdisciplinary care and a fellowship legacy that includes 46 fellows since 1999 from 17 countries.

The Division

The craniofacial program rests within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at SickKids, which covers the full range of pediatric plastic and reconstructive care.

The fellowship is integrated into a division with 10 full-time faculty, broad pediatric surgical expertise, global outreach and large clinical volumes.
